Bula! Yes, my laptop screen broke. I think I have bad luck when it comes to electronics, but I have been working on my report where I volunteer! School classes are wrapping up this week, so it is an exciting time (and very busy)! I have many interesting experience and cannot wait to share them with the club. Finals are during the next two weeks. They are from 50 to 65 percent of the course grade and three hours in length; therefore, studying for me is anything but over! Fiji is changing a lot since I have come, and I feel fortunate to live here during such historical events. The local rotary clubs are amazing. Along with many other events, last week, we delivered food, blankets and books to many rural villages and it was a real neat experience! I have been volunteering 20 hours per week at a reproductive healthcare clinic. It is a very interesting issue in Fiji as this topic must be approached with cultural and religious sensitivity in mind. Fortunately, I am working on developing a monitoring and evaluation program to track activities for donor reports. I decided this would be more useful and more appropriate than a foriegner doing outreach informing activities! I have given several speeches to the different Rotary clubs; I am embarassed to say I had to look up a lot of facts about Missouri that I should already know! I will attach a photo of my last speech. Moce! John
